Perkembangan Akreditasi Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Swasta (STAIS) di Jakarta Timur

Abstract

Private Islamic Religious Higher Education (PTKIS) received supervision, quality control, guidance and empowerment of the Private Islamic Religious Higher Education Coordinator (Kopertais) which became an extension of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Directorate General of Islamic Education. Especially Kopertais Region I overshadow PTKIS in DKI Jakarta and Banten namely Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi and Banten. The current mechanism of work under the work unit of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. This study aims to mapping the development of STAI institution accreditation by using the Research Samples of Four Islamic Religious Colleges (STAIS) in the East Jakarta area which is a campus fostered by Kopertais I. By using qualitative research based on literature studies, the results of accreditation data are obtained both institutions and study programs from the fourth The stais has not been accredited superior, as expected by the Director General of Islamic Religious Education. There are still institutions that have been established for a long time but the movement of the significance of the accreditation seems slow. In the synergy of the system between Kopertais and Higher Education Bases also appear to be an inequality, which should be with the current digitalization progress, the system can move quickly and integrated. This accreditation data is a high source of accuracy for the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN PT) in carrying out the Mapping of Institutional Accreditation and Mandiri Accreditation Institutions (LAM) to develop further study program accreditation.
